The battery is not detected in the laptop. The battery does not exist. What should I do?

If your laptop is not detecting the battery or the battery does not exist, you may need to replace the battery. You can check the manufacturer’s website for instructions on how to replace the battery.

If your laptop does not have a battery, you can update the driver by opening My Computer, clicking the Management icon in the top right corner, entering the Computer Management page, clicking Device Manager, clicking Battery on the right side, finding Microsoft AC Adapter, right-clicking and holding the keyboard R. Enter the adapter’s property box, select the Driver tab, observe the interface carefully, and click the Update Driver icon.

If the battery health remains the same after the driver updates, you can try removing the battery from the back of the laptop and reinstalling it. If the power adapter is not charging, it can also cause the battery to not display. Check if the power adapter is faulty. If not, it could be an issue with the battery motherboard. It could be due to long-term use or dirt, which can cause physical damage to the battery. If your laptop is still under warranty, you can send the battery to an official repair shop for repair. If it is out of warranty, you may need to purchase a new original battery.
